Training trips to Hong Kong

Sifu Matt takes students on annual training trips to Hong Kong.

 

Not only is there tons of training on these trips, but students also get to meet and train with Sifu Matt’s teacher, Grandmaster Ip Ching.

These trips are filled with intensive training everyday with Sifu Matt personally, as well as training with many of his Kung Fu brothers in Hong Kong. Students will also visit Ip Ching’s class at the world famous Ving Tsun Athletic Association, the school that was started by the late Grandmaster Ip Man.

Students visit many places including the gravesite of Grandmaster Ip Man located in Fanling, New Territories, the giant Buddha statue on Lantau Island, Hong Kong’s famous Jade market, Victoria Peak on Hong Kong island, The Night Market of Hong Kong, and many other sights as well. Students who go on these trips come home with a new understanding of Ving Tsun due to the intensive training that takes place, as well as memories of a lifetime.
